USA | 2016 | English | Hebrew subtitles

Deep in the forests of the Pacific Northwest, Ben raises his six children far from consumerism and screens: they hunt, climb cliffs, read Dostoevsky and celebrate Noam Chomsky Day. When his wife dies, the family boards an old bus and sets out into the outside world – and Ben must confront whether the utopia he built is a gift to his children, or a cage.

A funny, moving family drama starring Viggo Mortensen in an Oscar-nominated performance. Winner of the Best Director prize in the Un Certain Regard section at Cannes.
