Craig Schwartz, an unemployed puppeteer, takes a filing job on the 7½th floor of a Manhattan office building. Behind a filing cabinet he discovers a small door that leads straight into the mind of actor John Malkovich – for exactly fifteen minutes, before spitting him out beside the New Jersey Turnpike. Soon Craig, his wife and his alluring co-worker are selling trips into Malkovich, with results both hilarious and unsettling.

Charlie Kaufman's audacious debut screenplay is one of the most original comedies ever made. Nominated for three Academy Awards (Best Director, Best Original Screenplay and Best Supporting Actress – Catherine Keener) and winner of the BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay.
